I'm Hannah.

About

Ghent-based illustrator  Hannah Van der Cruyssen  uses her imagination to create images full of details and quirky characters. In this digital world she still prefers paper and ink to let her ideas come to life.

In 2017 she got selected to be part of the Window Walk during the Drawing Days Festival in Ghent. At the start of 2018 she enjoyed an internship at De Aanstokerij, an educational boardgame developer based in Leuven. In June 2018 Hannah graduated cum laude as an illustrator in her studies of Visual Design at the Luca School of Arts in Ghent.

Hannah likes a challenge and left for Nepal with her graduation project

A Little Word Told Me . She noticed the education system supported solely on the study by heart and lacked any kind of fun or thinking. A Little Word Told Me is an educational card game, developed to assist active teaching and learning of the English language. The idea of the game can easily be produced with less resources and focusses equally on the input of teachers and pupils.

During these studies she developed a growing interest for education and decided to qualify as an art teacher.

Now Hannah is back from a three month solo trip through Great Britain and looking for  new adventures  in the illustration field.
